Visitor's Centre
This proposal for a visitors centre, art gallery and restaurant in Peggy’s Cove Nova Scotia is an attempt to produce an architectural climax to the cultural experience of this amazing natural wonder. The architecture is meant to act as backdrop to the serene almost alien landscape and provide a ‘viewing platform’ of sorts that allows one to experience it in a new way. The program of the building, an art gallery, gift gallery and restaurant are all meant to showcase the cultural impact of this site and how it supports and inspires commerce, art and craft in the region.
