Exhibiting Mass is an experiment in moving through and around solids. Each void in the mass creates a space to be inhabited by bodies, art and light, while each mass in the gallery produces an analogous opposite. The ambition of the project was to address the competition brief as directly as possible - proposing a ‘facade’ that resists definition as a 2-dimensional barrier, Exhibiting Mass is a 3-dimensional space of transition and experience.
